Client: Vinny’s Pizzeria – A New York style pizzeria located in Cairo, Eygpt. Art Direction: Omar Sheibany. 2012.
The original brief for Vinny' pizzeria called for a hand-lettered logo that reflected the casual, street-vibe of the restaurant, mergeing ‘high-quality affordable food, garnished with a laid back, don’t-give-a-shit attitude.’
Vinny’s aim was to encompass a love of beautiful things; art, music, bustling streets, and of course pizza, to establish Vinny’s as a place where all these things fuse together.
As well as the initial branding, I have worked on signage, packaging, including pizza boxes, menus, flyers, stickers, and various online collateral.

Book One of A Duet For Swans follows Alex as he travels across the land in a magically hovering tugboat on a quest to find the ocean, and to find his true family. Accompanied by Grace - the girl who wouldn't let him embark on the adventure alone - their beloved tugboat will soon become a haven for many others seeking passage to the east - some less welcome than others.
But when town elder Mr Shrew requests that they take a dangerous detour to deliver a mysterious letter, their idyllic and peaceful adventure turns to one of darkness and treachery.

Client: East Vic Roller Derby
Art Direction: Catherine Elliot
This project remains one of my favorites – the design of a logo for East Vic Roller Derby, and my team at the time, Brutal Betties.
The original design brief asked for logos that would convey confidence and ferocity, mixed with a little bit of mischief, with an iconic 50′s feel.
It was very rewarding seeing the EVRD logo, and my Brutal Betties logo, on T-shirts, singlet’s, and the stickers, plastered on helmets and card. I got to collaborate with Tricia Van Der-Kuyp (Vandal Hype), to create a fundraising calendar which was a blast, as well as designing posters, newsletter and magazine content.
